Attention Dixie Power Members: A few of our members have called into our offices asking if we have changed our name. To clarify, we have not changed our name. However, Questar Gas has been purchased by Dominion Energy. We hope that clears up any confusion.

Attention Dixie Power Members: It's hot outside. Keep in mind your air conditioning is working consistently to maintain the temperature you set inside your home. This uses more energy, which affects your power bill, regardless if you are there or not. The best way to control costs associated with your power bill is to keep your home at a consistent temperature rather than turning it up and down regularly. Thank you.

Dixie Power Kite Festival

April 22, 2017

Dixie State University Encampment Mall
10:00 A.M. – 7:00 P.M.

The Festival is held in April and is designed to promote reading as a habit and encourage students to engage in family-oriented physical activity. Qualifying students earn a high-quality kite or age appropriate book for their reading efforts.

As an adjunct to the primary mission of the Kite Festival, contributions are made to the Washington County School Foundation for distribution to schools most actively involved in the Kite Festival based on attendance.

The Kite Festival provides a wholesome, uplifting, family-oriented event where everyone can participate regardless of experience, training, financial means or physical abilities. There are no fees for parking, admission, entertainment and fireworks. In addition to kite flying, there are free children games and $1 & $2 fees for children’s activities including bouncy toys, and other rides.

There is plenty of food available at the Festival at reasonable prices.

You may bring your own kites to fly in a designated area.

There is plenty to do and see for everyone!
